How to Measure Your Stump for Grinding?

To provide an accurate quote, we need the size of your stump. Please follow the steps below:

1. Measure the diameter of the stump

• Measure from one side of the stump to the other at the widest point

• Include any visible surface roots that flare out from the base

• If the stump isn’t perfectly round, measure both width and depth

Tip: Use a tape measure and record the size in centimetres or inches.

2. Measure stump height above ground

• Note how high the stump sits above soil level

• This helps us estimate the grinding time

3. Provide access details

• Measure the narrowest point we must pass through (gate, path, etc.)

4. Upload photos (optional but helpful)

• A photo of the stump from above and from the front

• A photo of the access route, gate, or entrance
